Troop 895 is a boy-led troop that's based out of the Waterview Church of Christ in Richardson. During our normal year - August to May - we have main troop meetings every Monday, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
Every month we have a weekend campout and we do something different on each - rocketry, rock climbing, cycling, canoeing, you name it! Our long term campouts include a session or two of summer camp and one of winter camp. Troop 895 also has an active High Adventure profile. We've gone up the Tooth of Time in Philmont, trekked through the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and Machu Picchu in Peru, canoeing through in the Northern Tier in Canada, and have a trip to Seabase planned in Summer 2008.
